Real, up-to-date costs

Our raw metal pricing is updated daily (Monday to Friday) and displayed in the second table above, separate from the consolidated Tier 1-5 metal prices, to ensure complete transparency. Raw metal cost is often misunderstood as simply the online spot price. In reality, bullion and precious metal wholesalers apply premiums above spot, which vary by metal type:

• Gold grain: 3-5% above spot
• Silver grain: 15-25% above spot
• Palladium grain: 15-25% above spot
• Indium grain: 20-30% above spot

To remove ambiguity, we publish the true total raw metal cost for every karat and colour on our website each day. Supplier premiums and material realities are fully accounted for (hence why we publish the raw metal pricing), so what you see reflects the actual cost of the metal to us on that day. We display raw metal costs separately to demonstrate that we do not operate on percentage-based metal markups. Instead, all metal processing is charged at a fixed, flat per-gram rate: clear, accurate, and fully transparent.

3D Wax Printing Processes

We take extra care to ensure the crispiest, highest-quality wax prints pre-casting.

Stage 1: Clean & Calibrate
Before starting a new build plate, the printer is thoroughly cleaned, including wiper blades, and every wax jet is tested via calibration prints. Any clogged jets are cleaned and purged until fully clear. This ensures flawless wax prints, preventing defects that could lead to re-printing, re-casting, and wasted time.

Stage 2: Hotplate Release
Waxes are carefully removed from the build plate using a dedicated hotplate. We do not use freezer “cold-shunt” methods, which risk cracks and micro-fractures in delicate waxes.

Stage 3: Solvent Dissolving
Support wax is removed through four sequential, temperature-controlled solvent baths with magnetic stirring. We avoid ultra-sonic baths for safety reasons and to prevent delicate parts from snapping. The final bath uses pure solvent to remove any remaining traces of build support wax.

Stage 4: Force Drying
Waxes are dried with cool, filtered air to ensure all solvents evaporate completely, leaving clean, dry, and crisp wax ready for treeing and casting.

The table below shows exactly what we charge to process metal after casting (per gram, flat-rate). We do not use percentage-based markups. That model is outdated and rewards opacity. Ours is built on clarity, accuracy, and consistency.

Precious metal prices move daily. Our metal processing fees do not. The cost of metal is the cost of metal, our fees remain fixed and independent of market volatility. The more weight you cast with us every week, the more your savings, our Tiered pricing structure allows clients to float through Tiers seamlessly according to weekly production volumes.

These metal processing fees cover our in-house master alloy granule manufacturing and all seven stages of post-processing, from casting clean-up through to final QC. There are no variable add-ons, no shifting margins, and no cross-subsidising between metals. What you see here is what we charge - every time.

You will notice our silver rates are higher than most casting houses. That is intentional. We do not cast silver at a loss and recover it through inflated gold pricing. Gold and silver are priced honestly and independently, keeping your costs predictable, auditable, and fair. Silver carries a lower processing fee than gold because it requires less energy, water, and post-processing time. Gold is priced independently to reflect its higher processing demands.
